We are very pleased! Functions very well. Our deck faces South so we have sun all day long. Now at last we can sit out there and have some shade. Communication with Sunjoy about some questions was very good. I put the Pergola together myself with help from my wife maybe for 15 minutes and the rest I could do alone.

I'm very pleased with my pergola. It was not difficult to assemble. But was easier as a two person job. Handy Assembly service sent 2 people who did a great job. Fabric slides easily from side to side to shut out the sun. It is anchored to my deck and is quite comfortable. I would definitely purchase it again.

Well built and looks terrific. My only suggestion would be to have some sort of detachment for very windy days. There is no quick way to take off the canopy and the tarp is under heavy tension

With some skill, you can put this together with 2 people... directions recommended 5. Haven't put the canopy on yet till we can make a bracket to secure the frame to the house, but im so happy with this purchase.

It fits perfectly on my deck .I found out you really need 2 people. The post position for the rail tube connector wasn't very clear. Had to turn post to have connectors in the correct position.

We bought this pergola for some shade in the back corner of my yard in Chicago! We also bought it to keep the alley light from hitting us while we were enjoying our little couch area and it's worked out really well we have since added lights and yeah you know it came a little dinged up but I expect that from this type of furniture. You definitely need a couple people adults to put it together at one point but it goes together pretty well we had one corner that we couldn't quite screw but it feels structurally sound.

I had help assembling this and THANK GOD. It was something else lol. It seems sturdy enough now that it's up, the stakes don't seem that great though so I'll likely tether it down another way. PAY VERY CLOSE ATTENTION to all of the holes and which way they go. We had to reassemble a few things because it wasn't clear in the instructions. All in all, good for the price!

Great pergola for the $. Assembly took a few hours, not difficult. Anchored to concrete with bolts, very sturdy. We saw one at Lowes and came home and found this one on Amazon. I believe this one is probably last years model. The one at Lowes the columns are painted to look like wood, the slates over the pergola has the same decorative end cap all the way across (this one only on ends) and the shade is one color. For the price difference, I'll keep this one. We are going to use Star brite Waterproofing Spray, Waterproofer + Stain Repellent + UV Protection for the canopy. Sat under it while raining and a few drops came through - not bad, we're just going to thoroughly protect it and the new cushions.

Great patio pergola!, can easily fit a round table and 6 chairs underneath. Its very sturdy and has withstood some heavy winds. You will need atleast 2 ppl to set it up, and pay close attention to the post direction!. Just wish the cover comes in different colours.

This worked out great for us. The only con is that the shade/cover fills with a lot of water when it rains. You have to be sure to empty it which means pouring it all off.

its a good product with a few laws. Received with a few tears in the canopy but not real bad. Pay attention to the holes in the picture. Make sure the side with three holes in side bars are facing in, it will save you hours the directions are pretty good but a note should be placed about how the 4 bars that hold it up should be placed.

Good quality at a reasonable price. We had this for two years so far and it has held up quite well. Scratches on some of the posts but not beyond expectations for wear and tear. A pain to out together but, again, that was expected.
