This well exceeded my expectations. It was extremely well packaged, it came in 2 large flat boxes on a pallet and weighed about 600lbs. This was the 13'x15' version. The graphical construction diagrams were detailed and complete. I constructed the pavilion almost entirely by myself and it took me about 10-12 hours over several days. I focused on making sure it was square from the ground up and it went together very well. The cedar was of high quality as was the metal sheeting and roof girders.

Perfect for Our Hot Tub
I have been searching for a quality gazebo that would fit over our hot tub and fit in the area without intruding on the walk area and the end of the patio. I looked at all the sites and watched Costco, Home Depot, and Lowes for good deals. Nothing ever appeared to be quality for the cost. I really wanted wood and metal and rectangular in shape.
I just happen to be searching YouTube and came across the channel BYOT, DIY One Day Gazebo. Once I saw this video this was exactly what I was looking for to the T. I ordered it a couple of days later after reading more reviews and doing research on SunJoy as I never heard of them. I was convinced by others and the video that this was the right choice.
I received my pallet in a couple of weeks exactly when they said it would arrive. Well packed for efficiency kind of Ikea-like, however, the quality of the materials was outstanding so don't let the packing discourage you. It was very smartly done to get this efficiently to you.
The build went fast for me, while BYOT did it one day, well we had temperatures near 100 and high 90s for days so in about 3 evenings while cooler we put it together. Watching the video was extremely helpful to prepare for the build. Laying out all the parts first really helped so I encourage it.
Instructions were very easy to follow, I did opt for real wrenches vs the ones in the package for stability in assembly. Make sure to not overtighten things, always go snug so you do not damage the wood or metal parts.
After 2 months it has stood heavy rain and heavy winds and is doing very well. We changed up and added new lights around the unit using the rails. Now we can enjoy the hot tub when the cold rain comes. I will miss when it snows and hot tubbing it is very nice but I won't miss the cold rain. This purchase is a great investment for sure.

I received this gazebo on Friday, 8/21/20. Since it is fairly large to assemble you need help - this is not a 1 person job. However, with a couple of helpers, we were able to get it fully assembled in about 2 hours.
The pictures posted are actually my gazebo with a wicker patio set. It comes with stakes to stake in each steel post - in my case, each patio post is seated on my cement patio so I could not secure at the base.
Instead, I purchased some rope and tent states and ran a rope from each corner and middle section and it is very secure to withstand heavy winds and rain.

I was also amazed at the engineering that was put into the gazebo. It was easy to assemble and the instructions were straightforward.
I applied some boiled linseed oil to the cedar to maintain its color and plan to add more a couple of times a year.

This was one of the easiest and prettiest small gazebos I've ever put together. All you essentially do is pull on the four sides simultaneously and the gazebo expands. Just pull it until you can't pull any more then stop. Now follow the simple instructions to put the top and sides on. Then attach the tie downs to the ground. Done! In just 10 minutes with several friends and we were already sitting inside talking about how fast this gazebo went up.
I remembered from years back the time and frustration that went with putting up these types of gazebos. Times have sure changed for the best with this little gem. I've already gotten compliments from my neighbors.

The first order I received had several damaged parts, however, customer service immediately sent another one out. I was concerned about putting this together based on some of the reviews, but it was not difficult at all. It does take some time, but it went together pretty smoothly. I do, however, suggest having at least 3 people to help put the corner legs on. It was extremely challenging with only 2 people. But so far I love it and it's really sturdy. I had zero issues with the sturdiness during 2 heavy rain storms in Chicago.
Pro tip: order the furniture clips and make sure you use canopy weights if you aren't going to screw the legs into your deck or patio.

We purchased this gazebo 3 weeks ago. ordering was smooth, delivery was excellent and the packaging was great.
Just installed it last weekend with 3 hours of prep to get everything ready the first day, the second day we had 5 hours into it and it was done. Two things on install do not tighten the bolts on the ridge beam until just before the roof panels and eyeball it to make it straight.
We put a wood prop under it to keep it straight until the final tightening. The fit and finish are pretty good, not perfect but the kit went together really great.
